  9. July 09, 2008 - Williamson County takes steps to buy land for biggest park yet. County would buy 865 acres North of Liberty Hill for $12.5 million. Tuesday, Williamson County commissioners voted to spend as much as $12.5 million on what is to be the county's largest park if a contract between the county and the property's owner is approved in coming weeks. The 865 acres lie north of Liberty Hill and have bluffs with 10-mile views of the county, rolling hills and riverfront property, commissioners said. (Austin Americam Statesman)

  10. July 07, 2008 - Williamson's plans for highway is causing a small uproar. "This is absurd," said Clyde Davis, a Liberty Hill real estate agent who owns several properties fronting Texas 29.
